Bases Survey!

We've had a great response to our new 25mm Dual Use Bases (the ones that are designed to accept both puddle based and flat footed figures and also incorporate a place for a 3mm x 1mm magnet. We wondered what other sizes you'd to have us do this way?

@ 30mm or more (maybe even starting at 28mm) it would be necessary to incorporate 3mm×2 magnets (at a minimum). I would love to have this.

A bigger off-centre foot size hole would be handy for fitting white metal figures with a minimal cast base, which could be cut down to a foot size peg.
It Would be more sturdy than just face to face baseless gluing on the flat foot side and could also be used from the puddle side if the original base was thick enough for a longer peg.

32mm round please.

James - September 17, 2022

For bases over 25mm, would like to see 2 magnet holes per base, each hole 5mm.

Dale - September 17, 2022

Another vote for 32 rounds please. Thanks!

Barks - September 17, 2022

32mm round

Josh - September 17, 2022

60mm round bases would be great, especially for weapons teams and monsters

Neil - September 17, 2022

60mm round, 25×50mm rounded rectangle. Are transparent bases a thing?

From my extensive experience in magnetising and hogging around 300+ 40k minis: 3×1mm magnet is not enough. It will prevent minis stuck to the 1mm steel sheet from becoming airborne while you walk, but not from moving and rubbing paint off each other. I seriously recommend you 5×2mm magnets, no repelling problems even on a smooth surface.

60mm round along with 25, 30, 40 and 50 will be perfect for The various Osprey skirmish rules.
