Season of the Witch! (spellcasters)

  • I'm splitting this off from a couple different discussions, but recently there's been a lot of talk about minatures for spellcasters. Obviously, we are fortunate enough have the frostgrave kits and the upcoming monks, which can combine to fulfill about 70% of my spellcasting needs. However, I'd like to float a handful of kits that I personally would love to see, as well as ask what other people might want.

First of all, obviously, the cultist kit is one of WGA's coolest kits (in my humble opinion). Unfortunately, however, it's stuck on digital, which is not a format that everyone enjoys using. The frostgrave cultists are great, but they better represent the masses of worshippers rather than elite guards and dark magistrates. It's also just an awesome kit, I mean, look at it!

My second proposal would be witches. Now, you can totally just get your witch fix from the frostgrave wizards ii box. However.... there's only one witch hat, and it's not even crooked. There's only one athame, too (the little wavy knives). And no broomsticks! And the old ladies don't look that old! Plenty of games now (silver bayone, turnip28, trench crusade, just off the top of my head) have a demand for a properly creepy and occult coven.

Anyways, in the interest of keeping it specific: you can get as many candles and cauldrons as you need from sorceror's spoils. Honestly I think this is specific enough it could easily be crammed onto half a sprue, similarly to werewolves. What this would need, though:

    - options for hooded/blindfolded/pointy hats

    - athames

    -dramatic hand gestures

    -loosely puritanical but could-be-fantasy clothing

    - broomsticks

    - maybe a cat if we're being generous

Anyways, though, those are just two off the top of my head. What other spellcasters would you want to see? Druids have some demand, as well as a more specialized cleric set.
