The difference is, $3.41pm WGA town militia gets you a shitton of bits and options, modern sculpts, and can be easily kitbashed with other models. Same is true for victrix, warlord, perry, any comp...

I'd like some fishy cultists, too, since WGA does an absolutely GORGEOUS digital cultist kit that's bird-themed. Cultist models are kinda like knights in that theres a million different ways you co...
WGA is a bit of tempermental beast when it comes to plastics releases, lol. They tend to focus on filling gaps in the market rather than trying to directly compete. Given that there aren't any othe...
I'm usually pretty wary of working with resin models, but I was doing some scrolling and the cultist files looked so sick I thought they'd be worth it. Unfortunately, there's no comments on the MMF...
I am so sorry, I didn't mean to say anything like that!! I more meant that some people like to put irl historical influences in their minis, and some people want to avoid that kind of thing. I'm in...
The one bit of feedback I'd maybe give is that the red, white, and black armband looks a lot like a swastika from a distance. Some people want that, others don't. Either way, cool models, look forw...
@Brian Van De Walker It doesn't need to be strictly "in gw scale". I more mean that knights are usually elite troops, and elite troops usually are on bigger bases. I don't know if you've ever tried...
@Oliver J We had a different bot spamming posts a little while ago. Maybe you two should kiss?
@John Smith GOD I would go berserk for that kinda of kit. I'm an avid KT kitbasher, and those are literally just 'all the bits I find myself short on constantly.' With that said, I'd also throw in ...
This looks sick as hell!! any plans for vehicles?
Scale creep is real, but even then, I've mixed WGA models with modern GW bits and they look great. Armored models are usually fine to mix around with scale anyhow, since you can pass off inconsiste...
I dunno man, looks like victrix might have you covered. (jokes aside, yeah some constables would be pretty nice with victorian fantasy on the rise)
The spears might be a little too hard to use without arms to go with them, but I'm in complete favor of assorted pointy terrain bits. Could work absolute wonders for chaos/heretic legion/copy...
@Percival conquest minis are 38mm, so WAY too big for my needs. shame, cause the sculpts are gorgeous. maybe 32mm is too big, but a little more chunk would be quite nice for fantasy knights. tryin...
I admit to being kinda biased - I am a HUGE fan of the stormcast eternals, and unfortunately it's a lot harder to find 32mm knight figures than it is 28mm ones. I don't think they're popular enough...
@Mark Dewis Man, modern GW pricing schemes suck. 84 bucks plus tariffs for 32 models just feels so bleh, especially when said models are probably older than I am. I did forget about these guys, tho...
if they leaned more towards a 32mm scale, you might be able to double-dip into stormcast players too. plus i kinda feel like fantasy knights should be big. they're knights!
Good lord, I'd go batshit for a woodcraft kit. Sprue and popsicle sticks can only go so far! Could be part of a boxed game, too, like with the market/barricade kit.
I dunno man, the odds of WGA suddenly shifting their style feels pretty low. Even if they did, it feels like they'd want to do a kit that's not really on the market yet, like with the guards/villag...
I just did some quick googling of that movie, and yeah holy shit that's some sick looking armor. I accidentally did some knights in a similar "walking tank" style by mixing together perry miniature...
Maybe a mix of both? Two fur speedos and four harnesses would be a good compromise, since it lets wga build off the existing digital sculpts. At the very least it would be a step up from the altern...
Alright, so I'm going to preface this by saying that I know next to nothing about how production works, so this might be a much larger request than I'm imagining. With that said, there's a really n...
Honestly I'd just go for it if you like the models, scale and setting be damned. You'd be suprised what a healthy dose of bits and wires can do to any kind of model to make it look sci-fi.
@Yronimos Whateley Ah, that wonderful blend of heroin, ignorance of nonwestern civilizations, and repressed bisexuality that makes turn-of-the-century pulp so wonderful! Yeah, I was looking at most...
@MultiTool It's a different kit, but I've had some success with chopping a rifle out and attaching it to the back. Then, you use a bit of wire, bend it into shape, and glue it on to make a belt. Th...
@Drangir rn it really depends on who the regiment is. There's well-drilled, well-equipped regiments like the cadians or vostroyans. Then there's guys like the salvar chem-dogs, who are literally ju...
@Sir Nobody >I see the appeal ohhh you want shirtless barbarian models tooo ohhh (okay but fr the thought of conan in a sallet is really funny for some reason. Thanks for the conan lo...
@Mithril2098 Okay first of all: all of this Conan backstory is genuinely really interesting, thanks for typing all this out! I've read a grand total of like five Conan comics, so my knowledge is pr...
@Stephen Sutton maybe "setting agnostic" isn't the right word. I more just mean kits that could work for a variety of settings, or at least wouldn't fit super neatly into any one line. Things like ...
tbh regarding the drow, I honestly think there's a HUGE gap in the market regarding nude/semi-nude models that aren't super sexed-up. Tiny plastic people are people too, and sometimes people don't ...
This is a bit of a long shot, but I might pick some up, mix them with conquistador crossbows/cities of sigmar bits, and try to build Malazans. It would probably be a hell of a project, but I figure...
@Brian Van De Walker unhinged tangent time: in one of my darkest moments, I considered getting the victrix unarmored celts to fulfill my shirtlessness fix. They're roughly 40$ for a pack of 60, wit...
@Brian Van De Walker @Brian Van De Walker you are totally right, I had a fever and my brain stopped working and I thought napoleonic gamers would want, like region-specific wagon wheels. They don't...
Genuinely curious to see what kinds of general accoutrements people want/have been looking for. I'm talking about kits like horses, skulls, the new markets & barricades kit, etc. Me pers...
As a kitbasher, I'd go crazy for a sprue like this. I got a box of ogres a while back that just has a bunch of interestingly shaped barrels, pouches, bits of meat etc and they've ended up in ...
@Mithril2098 im specifically talking about fantasy barbarians, who have a couple different archetypes. The main issue I'm talking about is that all 'generic fantasy barbarian' models lean towards a...
I have been hunting for decent barbarian models recently for a warcry project, and noticed a massive gap in available plastic models. I'm a huge Conan fan, so my image of a barbarian is pretty simp...
