Iron Core Valkir on Pre-Order!

The next release for Mark Mondragon's Iron Core range: the Valkir Heavy Troopers are now on pre-order!

 

This 12-figure set is chock full of options including two ways to build the legs and a huge variety of weapons and head types! 

 

Originally released by DreamForge-Games back in 2015, Mark has completely refurbished the set and we have done new tooling to assure the highest levels of detail. They join the Stormtroopers and Panzerjager as part of the Eisenkern faction.

They look great!! Really good job on the sculpts would’ve been nice like the others have said in the comments to see them built up and see what scale they’re to the others minis in the range and Death fields too. Price is understandable if they are quite a bit bigger compared to the regular infantry/stormtroopers. Let’s wait and see.

Are there plans for the heavy weapons Valkir to make a comeback in the future? That was the only kit I managed to get from the original Iron-Core line before the line died out for a while and I’m super nostalgic for the big heavy weapons and two-handed cannon styles in the same aesthetic.
This new kit looks fantastic, a little sad they don’t have the fluted pseudo-Maximillian style helms though. Those were my favorite of the old kits.

While the sprue shot and [what I assume are] 25mm bases in the product photos give a reasonable idea of the scale, it would be nice to see something more precise, but I have a feeling we won’t get anything like an exact comparison to the previous kit until they’re out in the wild.

Awesome, will order a few.
About size, I can see it’s 4 sprues, but showing off a scene with both Valkir and regulars would do wonders on the product page ;) Just like you show other factions in action scenes for Death Fields

Shawn – you realize these are bigger boys right? Also 12 for $39.95 works out to $3.33 a figure. Pretending this pricing is anywhere close to Games Workshop is rather silly!

Awesome-looking models but can you guys add a picture at the product page with a size comparison with other Ironcore and Death Fields models ?
I see the box has only 12 models. Are they that much bigger than regular troopers?
