Adversaries:

Classic Fantasy: Elves, Human Militia (vs. Orcs)
First Empires: Existing sets are already pairs.
Decline and Fall: Rome has all kinds of fun enemies that are under represented in minature. Carthage, Gauls, Parthians, Arsinoe IV Egyptians, Cleopatra+Antony Egyptians,
Blood Oaths: Byzantines (vs. Goths).
Renaissance: Ashigaru (vs. Samurai), Varna Crusaders (vs. Ottomons)
Napoleon’s War: 1812 US Militia (vs. English)
Imperial Conquests: Victorian Criminals (vs. Victorian police), Satsuma Rebels (spiritual opposition to Boshin War Imperial Infantry), Zulu (take a wild guess)
Great War: Serbia, anything Russian Civil War
World Ablaze: “Cursed Soldiers” Poles, Volkssturm (As “opposition” to existing Partisans).
General Accouterments: US Soldier (vs. modern conversion of Afghans), or “Modern” Partisan (generic and could oppose anyone). Modern Partisan would either be just conversion arms for common arms (AKM/Type 56, original M16, Glock 17, FGC-9), or that plus bodies in civilian clothes.
Death Fields: Some kind of Sudden Death/anti-overtime enforcement “mechanic”, some kind of masked scary professional force in full body (like stormtroopers or better armored Kreig).

All things Africa can bring some really interesting stuff. Maybe gnolls for classic fantasy, Nubians for first empires, Axum for decline and fall, maybe horsemen from the Kanem-Bornu Empire for Renaissance. So many cool possibilities
