Portuguese Cazadores

Also the word for "Hunter", the Cazadores (Caçadores) were elite light infantrymen of the Army of Portugal. As part of General Beresford's reorganization of the Portuguese army, independent battalions of such troops were formed. Equipped with both muskets and rifles, they would act as light infantry and sharpshooting.
