French 75mm Field Gun
DIGITAL PRODUCT
The French Canon de 75 modèle 1897 is a quick-fire field gun first adopted by the french in 1897. This was an anti-personnel gun, aimed to pour enough shrapnel into advancing enemy troops to blunt assaults.
This set depicts such a weapon and its crew in the midst of firing. Two variants of wheels allow for extended use of the kit for different campaigns as technology developed. Finally the set features an ammunition caisson as a secondary large piece.
