Ō-yoroi Samurai and Dō-maru bushi

  • To start off, I want to say I am extremely happy with the recent release of lightly armored ashigaru. The addition of unarmored and Dō-maru armored archers and heads wearing happuri motivated me to make this post.

I would like to support the possibility of a future release of Samurai wearing Ō-yoroi armor and Samurai and melee Ashigaru wearing Dō-maru armor

    Ō-yoroi

    Dō-maru

-under represented in terms of miniatures (most samurai and ashigaru miniatures out there are wearing some form of Tosei-gusoku appropriate for the last 50-60 years of the Warring States period, which the current Wargames Atlantic Japanese STLs are wearing

-can be used for earlier samurai conflicts like the Genpei War, the Mongolian invasions, the Northern and Southern courts, the Onin War, and the early Sengoku Jidai (the Dō-maru armor can be used for the entire Sengoku period)

  • @thomas lapoint I would rather just have the earler Mongolian invasions samurai and foot troops.
