Armored Skoutotai Spearmen

Skoutotai Spearmen formed the front ranks of the Early medieval Byzantine chiliarciai, the anvil against which the enemies of the empire would be broken. Characterized by their rounded kite shields and longer-than-average spears, this set depicts warriors in scale armor. Options for bannerman and musician are also included.
