Genoese Crossbowmen (Early)
DIGITAL PRODUCT
The Republic of Genoa is famed for its Crossbowmen, a corps of battle hardened men that were the defenders of the city and a prime mercenary unit. The Crossbowmen themselves made history by being present and participating in the Siege of Jerusalem during the first crusade.
File set contains all body poses and options needed to recreate the way this storied unit fought, with first ranks sheltering behind early pavise shields (which had not yet developed their distinctive central ridge.) The remainder of the unit engaged in either reloading or passing of loaded crossbows.
