Ottoman Armored Infantry
DIGITAL PRODUCT
Heavily armoured ottomans to bring the Sultans justice to his enemies!
The Janissaries of the Foundation Period (1300-1453) were primarily an infantry force utilizing bow and arrow to project the dominance of the Sultan. Some though, specifically around the Sultan himself and other important commanders, would be heavily armed and armoured similar to Siphai Cavalry. This kit is designed to represent those troops, as well as Siphai cavalry who have lost their mounts in combat and would then have to fight on foot.
Armoured Ottoman infantry like this would wield a wide variety of weapons, with axes, spears, and maces being favoured. The figures are armoured in typical Ottoman mail and partial-plate armour, with heavy shields and intricate helmets.
This is a five figure set (with and without puddle bases) of heavily armoured Ottoman infantry. This versatile set includes many head and weapon options to outfit a unique unit.
