Conquistador Cavalry Update!

As soon as the Conquistador Cavalry set met it's $6000 goal in Vox Populi we started to do the final refinements, part additions, and organization of the files to get it ready for a final layout. 

Many of you called to add pistol arms and more full helms to the set. Rob has given some options for both matchlock and wheel-lock pistols here. Let us know what you think of these options. 

Not all the parts we've shown will fit but we are going to work (like we always do!) to give you a huge number of options and variety in the set. 

Any parts that don't make it into the final plastic set will be available as digital add-ons once the set is released. Let us know your thoughts below!

Adding the pistols increases the utility of this set by about 250%. Thanks for listening to the feedback.

Certainly went from skip to buy on my list.

Plus 1 on pistols for both hands.

I vote for wheel-locks.

Loving these kits! Will be building a full army for Kings of war with the Conquistador sets! (And halfling and ogre sets)

Big fan of the versatility of armoured/unarmored options, and weapons. I think WGA have done well to make a kit that does a lot and that look good as historical but also in a fantasy setting.

I’d love to see these pistols as an upgrade sprue, perhaps with various clothing (plume, leather, and mail). That and a a multitude of the sheathed pistols.
That way, it would be easy to make a squad of Pistoliers :)

Excellent additions to the set as they now could be used for mid to late 16th century cavalry and even early 30 years war (if you are not a button counter gamer! ;) )

If it comes to having to make a choice because of space limitations on the sprue, more pistols and less helms are my call.

Fantastic parts. One last thing… make one pistol left handed. As you should in every kit. Because dual wielding is cool.

This is GREAT! So glad to see some pistols. Full helms are incredible. Going to be perfect for Empire Knights and Pistoliers.

Postscript: The wheel ones are cooler, but the match ones are more realistic.
