Peter Dennis has sent in his work-in-progress on the Afghan Cavalry cover. This set is being laid out right now and will soon be in tooling to complement our Afghan Warriors on foot! The set will also include Afghan Regular cavalry heads in the beehive hat. Coming out later this year.

I’ve been thinking of creating an army of Afghan fighters for both Warhammer 40K and Warhammer Age of Sigmar. (I figured they sit in that gray area between the ancient and modern, so they could work for both). And I was considering how to create units of horse-riding forces. My original plan was to grab some Napoleonic cavalry from Perry Miniatures and stick some surplus Afghan heads on them.

Glad to see there’s going to be a more direct and cohesive option. That simplifies matters greatly.
