Sneak Peek: Upcoming Releases!

Now that we've switched to a bi-weekly release schedule, we can say in great confidence what will be going on sale next Friday, June 26th! All four of these will be in both warehouses and ready to ship.  

We have a bumper crop of releases actually - four plastic sets! 

First up is the Barons' War Retinue box. This is a great way to field a game-ready force and get stuck into the Barons' War rules: 

Next we have Mounted Command - reinforce your retinue with demanding chaps on horses! 

We also have two new base sets to add to our General Accoutrements range. 32mm (3mm tall bevel) textured bases and something very new - 25mm round, straight sided 2mm profile textured bases. These are the same height as our dual-use bases and will be compatible with our movement tray system (first ones coming very soon) 

I'm not supposed to do this, but in 3 weeks we have two other new releases hitting. Our much anticipated Egyptian Archers and Spearmen (first of a giant new Bronze Age range) and our Shipping Containers and pallets sets! Those arrive on July 10!

I, too, am impatient for Squamata Romans. They’ve been in the queue for years and I’ve seen numerous new sets both announced and brought through to release in the same time frame.

Yes, Wargames Atlantic we have read the coming soon part in the friday email. We have done that for years and seen the Squamata Romans being overtaken by everything else countless times that’s why we’re asking.

I’ll chime in with everybody else. Really hope the Late Roman Squatmata set hasn’t gone by the wayside, I’ve been excited for them since buying the first Late Roman set. The Dark Age Army Builder and the Dark Age Irish don’t have armored torsos, the Late Roman set does the heavy lifting for kitbashes. The squatmata would add some much needed variety…

This Mounted Command will be quite useful for making mounted priests of good gods in my fantasy games, this is gonna be so awesome. Can’t wait until July 10 tho – the Egyptians will finally gonna be here; i’ve waited for so long to get my hands on them I might even buy two or three boxes at once.
