Two New Sets Coming Soon!

Two New Sets Coming Soon!

We are going to kick 2025 off with two new hard plastic sets!

First up we have the Barons' War Foot Serjeants 24 figure set. Support your knights with well-trained and armored serjeants equipped with falchion, crossbow, spear, and halberd!

Each box includes four of the frame above and one of the frame below.

The second set is a new faction for the Quar: the Fidwogs! These diminuitive (even by Quar standards) mountain tribes are fierce fighters who will support the Royalist cause against the upstart Crusaders! Each box features two full squads with two squad tractors.

These two new sets will be on pre-order starting Friday January 10th and will be released on Friday January 24th to all customers worldwide.

Y. Whateley – I also had the thinking the Quar kit could be really useful for getting cheap Sentinels for 40K. Put them on an 80mm base. Maybe do some creative basing to get the height right, like on a hill or with a tree or lamp-post. You could definitely make it work. (If you mix the Fidwog kit with other Death Fields infantry, you could run the Quar models themselves as maybe Ratling snipers. They’re shorter than all the other Quar models.)

Not much I can say about the Sergeants – they are exactly what I would expect, look great, and will surely be the perfect ham-and-egg backbone of all sorts of medieval and fantasy armies.

The Quar, on the other hand, are fascinating: they’re maybe not the sort of thing I’d normally go for, and I don’t expect to play that game anytime soon, but (like the other Quar sets) it’s a beautiful kit, and those tankettes are just begging to find uses in other contexts, such as Warhammer 40K, “The Last War”, and other fantasy and sci-fi settings that touch on Victorian Sci-fi/Steampunk, Death Fields (why not a Quar faction there? Or, if not, then those tankettes would surely mix well with teams like the Grognards and Bulldogs…), and perhaps even pulp-sci-fi as the basis for retro killer-robot projects. I’ll certainly be watching the Quar product line with interest to see what else develops – it’s surely a setting that can use and might see a variety of other useful armor and artillery models!

Hope to get 3 or more boxes of your Age of Chivalry Foot Sergeants from Great Escape Games. When available, as the billhook , Kettle hat and swords in scabbard options are ideal for my needs. Well done
