Up Close: The Damned Outriders

The Outriders will be the first set to unlock after the initial funding goal delivers the first four sets. Here's a preview of part of what will be on the sprue: 

EQUITES APOCALYPSI

The Riders of the Apocalypse are a recent addition to The Damned forces. Having lived their entire lives on a broken space habitat, none had heard of, let alone seen, an animal as large as a horse. After watching other teams use cavalry (on a variety of beasts) to stunning effect, the Equites Apocalypsi was born.

This box set includes enough parts to build 9 hard plastic cavalry that can be equipped with standard rifles, pistols, explosive-tipped lances, and a variety of edged weapons. Mix and match arms and heads from the other The Damned sets for even more options! 

Keep in mind the above parts are just a small part of what's on the sprue! Lots of alternate heads and weapon options coming - and you can also use arms and heads from the other Damned sets to customize your riders!

I take it this sprue mixes with the Generic Horses one?

‘Explosive tipped lances’ = lunge mines !? It’s cheaper using WWII soviet anti tank dogs, Add some – or is that for the hounds box ?

WWI era cavalry were mobile infantry, despite what their wine sodden subalterns thought.
The French and British cav units held off the 1918 German offensive until their retreating Infantry regouped.

Jumping over obstacles, dropping grenades is what early 20C cav are good at or walking quietly on the flanks and dismounting – until they get tanks & trucks!

Will the horses be compatible with generic WA mounts? It would be nice to grab to avoid samey gas mask on every one.

This set of affordable dark future cavalry will make me to buy a whole bundle of the damned. Oh well!
Finally, we can see the potential!
