Quar, the Willie and Joe of miniatures

I love the Quar. Released in metal years ago by Zombiesmith these figures have the look of veteran troops in a long hard war. Sculpture of the new plastic and resin troops is excellent. There is little to no flash, a lot of variety in equipment, and they just look good.
Are their ancestors anteaters or birds? Is Alwyd a heavy planet? Unknown.
