Wargames Atlantic Presents: Spring Painting Contest 2023

  • Greetings friends,

On behalf of the Mod team and Wargames Atlantic, I hereby bring you our next painting contest.

We’ve learned from our January painting contest and its frankly massive response. It is especially good to see you all painting more Wargames Atlantic miniatures including Atlantic Digital offerings.

We appreciated your efforts in January’s competition. We had over 70 entrants, and the message was clear: More categories, more models, more painting and more fun!

The categories for the Wargames Atlantic Spring Painting Competition are thus:

    Single figure – Historical

    Single figure – Sci-fi

    Single figure – Fantasy

    Group/diorama – historical

    Group/diorama – sci-fi

    Group/Diorama – Fantasy

There will also be other awards for best overall and Wargames Atlantic Staff picks. You may enter with multiple entries, but they must be distinct from each other (I.e. no models covering multiple categories.)

THIS THREAD is for the rules and information contained in this post. General painting competition discussion and banter can be commented and posted in THIS THREAD

  • @Wesley Brems , have you considered adding your Dux prints to the community prints tab on MMF?

  • @Lord Marcus I didn't actually print him myself. I ordered him through Only Games as I do not have access to a 3D printer.

  • Good luck to everyone. Will probably be sitting this one out this time, its a busy time at work so paiting time is a bit limited. but I look forwards to seeing all the cool enterys.

  • Are a few 3rd party bits allowed? Like bits from citadels skulls kit?

  • @The Misclicker As long as the main model is wargames atlantic, yes.

  • Submissions are now closed. Wargames Atlantic will be collating entries and data for the next few days. Thank you all for entering! keep on painting and please keep us posted! we love painted model photos!
