Inspired by the mobile commandos of the Boer War, the Special Air Service was formed by Britain after the fall of France in 1940. Volunteers underwent rigorous training covering weaponry, stealth, orienteering, air and amphibious assault, demolition, and a number of other critical skills to operate behind enemy lines. The Commandos operated extensively during World War 2 in multiple theaters.

This box set includes enough parts to build 30 SAS, SBS, or Royal Marine Commandos with a variety of headgear. Equipment includes Sten, Bren, and Tommy guns, Lee Enfield rifles, sniper rifles, pistols, knives, a demo charge, and radio equipment.

Models require assembly and painting. Bases are not included. Not for Children. Contents may vary from photos.

Fits well with other 28mm minis

It fits well with other sets. Looks good as well

So Good

Just a great set of minis so many options. And everything looks so great and well detailed loved putting them together.

Fun behind enemy lines!

Excellent bits and options which can be combined to create some very cinematic poses--commandos darting between shadows or hunched waiting to ambush! The game 0200 hours which uses these sculpts is fantastic and tense too!

Quality kit

Picked up a box of these for use with 02 Hundred Hours; delighted with the figures, this is some excellent kit. I've built and painted up eight so far and I'm looking forward to more soon. Really chuffed with these.

Fun to build, a pleasure to paint

I got these as a sample in the 02Hundred Hours game set from a local brick and mortar (Michigan Toy Soldier; I was so taken that instead of the usual photo-frame review I built and painted them as fast as I could. WW2 isn't really my period but these were so fun and easy to assemble that I couldn't resist. Crisply detailed weapons, active poses with tons of options for customization and excellent proportions are the hallmark of this set! I even enjoyed painting the camo patterns. Even with my limited skills they turned out great, take a look here:

Very Highly Recommended!
