Grand Battle Scale - What's Next?!

There's so much chatter and excitement about the new Grand Battle Scale 10mm hard plastic sets that we wanted to survey you to ask what you want to see next in this size.

Our Samurai and Ashigaru sets are going to be released very soon, the Samurai Command set is in final design, and the Azincourt sets are being worked on (there's also a secret third range in the works right now!) But how about after those? What else would you like to see?

Enter your choices below and leave any comments at the very bottom of the page!

Crusades.

For ‘other’ 10mm ranges I’d love to see Anglo-Zulu war; Franco-Prussian war and hordes of modern zombies please! I’m delighted to see 10mm finally getting some plastic boxed sets that will work nicely with some of the great metal ranges out there rather than trying to replace them with a new in-between scale.

I have to say Matthew Mitchell ist right in his Comment to “create ranges where Armies were Equipped similar to each other”. And What comes to my mind is simply the…

American War of Independence

Just give us some Infantry an we decide ourselves if we paint them blue or red ;-). Put in some cannons, maybe minutemen.. some cavalry…and so on. Additional ranges could be german mercenaries or french army.

I think Sumerians would be amazing. I bet the tiny war wagons would be adorably fierce lol

Matthew Mitchell - July 20, 2024

For OTHER: Ancient China “Han”, & Spanish War of Succession. However in general I believe that The Grand Scale system Wargames Atlantic is putting out should be to create ranges where Armies were Equipped similar to each other. The Samurai range is a perfect example as well as Mediaeval Europe or the two suggestions above. This creates value for the customer being able to buy two armies for the price of one just making painting choices to field the armies the customer wants the only hard choice. Historical accuracy in this fashion also won’t suffer as much either as minor differences between equipment on models could be historically plausible “example” American Civil War soldiers wearing Slouch caps and Kepis in the same unit. Overall excited for the future of this range I preordered one of each Samurai set and cant wait to paint them and see the possibility ahead!

Punic wars – including iberian and numidian, crossing over to successors with later Macedonian would be great
