Great looking concept. This set may be improved with:
1) More dynamic pose than standing straight. Even a ready stance would lend a sense of movement and imminent action.
2) variety in the belt/loincloth area as it looks like there are different legs.

I agree about the helmet, Andrew- a shallet or a barrel helm would be great. Also, these are more like ogres rather than trolls. That’s not a complaint. Traditional trolls are my cup of tea.

I second the opinion of Sci-Fi weapon options, or at least hands for easy converting.
If included it would be nice to have enough in the box to equip all the trolls, was a bit disappointing to see the lizardmen box not have enough AKs to equip all of them.

You can add my voice to chorus for sci-fi options here. You could outfit these big guys with support weapons that other Death Fields forces have to set up on a tripod. I’d also like to see some sci-fi melee weapons, such as a ‘power axe’ or some such, scaled up to accommodate these trolls. An option for a simple spear would also be nice (sci-fi or fantasy), as well as shall we say ‘better manufactured weapons’, as though they’d been issued to them or culled from previous opponents.

I just caught a glimpse of one of the in-progress poses in the Friday Email update – looks fantastic! This set is gonna be HUUUUUGE! :)

I like JH’s suggestion of including a helmet option or two that matches what the goblins are wearing – it would be a nice touch for consistent army-building.

I think an option of a helmet that completely covered the head, something very plain, would give a menacing look. Also some VSF options would be cool – such as mechanical enhancements.
