New WW2 Set: Panzer Lehr!

New WW2 Set: Panzer Lehr!

The second set in our World Ablaze WW2 range can now be revealed: Panzer Lehr!

Work-in-Progress Artwork by Peter Dennis

This elite unit was formed from veterans who participated in the fighting on the Eastern Front, North Africa, and Sicily and was outfitted with the latest equipment of the German war machine. Formed late in the war, they took part in some of the heaviest fighting in France in 1944 until their eventual surrender in April 1945 within Germany.

This will be a 30-figure set with a great number of options including arms and bits to convert them into regular tank crew.

Above is the sprue layout prepared for tooling.

Selection of some of the unique parts in the set.

The sixth body and additional parts to build tank crew.

This set is being prepared for tooling but there is no release date as of yet. Three other World War 2 sets are in development now as well for later this year. Sign up for our email below to be kept up to date on our latest releases.

Were these sculpted by the same person who did the Resistence set? Those are really well done/look great.

I second (third?) the request to not mold the rifle pouches onto the bodies. Better to be able to add rifle pouches, submachine gun pouches, or machine gunners kit to the belts of all the figures.

Other suggestion: Less bare heads (maybe only one or two) in order to have more helmeted heads.

Anyway, pumped! Really cool miniatures to come out with.

@Wargames Atlantic: yeah, I’m always amazed by the number of “experts” who don’t know what they are talking about.

Marc good find that was actually one of the references we used as they had nice multiple views of it!

I want to say well done to your excellent range of figures that you now offer to people. While not every range will be to everyone’s taste, the castings are really nice, crisp and well detailed.
As a WW2 gamer (Sorry other gamers) the French Resistance range superb and i am looking foreword to the release of the new Panzer Lehr range. keep up the good work and i look foreword to any new releases of the WW2 era maybe Winter troops Finns , Russians in white ski suits a possible range.

An interesting set with a lot of possible uses. I’d have to second the call for not moulded pouches. And some pistol holsters for mg crew and dismounted panzer crew. Makes the figures a lot more versatile.

With separate poaches, STG44s and Fallschirmjäger helmets you could use them as Skijägers! Well It will be less work converting plastics then metal at least.
