Preview: Azincourt English and French Army Boxes!

Boxes are printing and plastic is being run now for the next historical range for our Grand Battle Scale 10mm range: Azincourt! 

We've designed four unique frames that cover French mounted and foot knights, Genoese crossbowmen, English longbowmen (with bows and with melee weapons), and English foot knights/men-at-arms.

These massive army boxes will give you over 700 figures each to recreate the epic conflict outside the village of Azincourt! 

Plastic production is complete in the USA, 75% complete in the UK, and boxes are being printed. Look for the pre-order coming in the not too distant future!

I was hoping for ikko-ikki, Koreans or Ming Chinese in 10mm to face off against the Samurai…maybe later? I already have Agincourt miniatures from Hordes and Heroes. They are about 12mm so unfortunately I can’t use them well with your 10mm.

Please consider releasing these in smaller boxes similar to the samurai range, the minis look wonderful but 700+ minis are way more than I need (I like to play games like Lion Rampant or Kings of War with 10mm minis, using 2 or 4 40×20 bases for each unit).

I reckon there’s others who would also appreciate buying these without committing to painting a full army. Late medieval soldiers make for such versatile minis!

I’m very very excited for these. Friend of mine and I have been wanting to do 10 mm Lord of the Rings Warmaster and these will do great for Gondor and Arnor! Can’t come soon enough. Between these and the upcoming Agents and Female Partisans, I see myself spending plenty of money here soon….

I suppose the problem with tying the releases to a specific battle, in this case Azincourt, is that we don’t get any specifically sculpted British mounted knights, which is a shame as I had some plans to expand the scenario.

That said, the miniatures look very nice indeed 😀

Now all I can imagine is these guys being used against the Fantasy Grand Battle Orcs. And it’s a glorious idea.
