We're just wrapping up the box design on this one and injection has already been done in the UK so we can (hopefully!) get the mold over to the US soon. WAALR005 Late Roman Legionaries (2): Lorica Squamata.

Painting by Stephan Huber

This box set features our typical smorgasbord of helmet types so that you can depict several different eras. This time we moved the shields to their own frame to free up space for extra parts and six unique bodies.

This set will mix and match quite happily with WAALR001 Late Roman Legionaries (1): Lorica Hamata as well as our WAALR002 Goth Warriors, WAALR004 Dark Age Army Builder, and several upcoming sets in the range. The bodies and some helmets are perfect for noble warriors in the armies of the Goths, Saxons, Franks, Burgundians, and other enemies of Rome.

Standby for the pre-order date coming in the not too distant future!

Stunning looking sculpts, cant wait to mash these with the dark age army builder and the goths to make my Foederati. I agree with the other comment about a bit of info in the pack detailing what eras/region each helmet type show! Was also thinking you could make a late roman light infantry set? More skirmishing options, more missile weapons and more pannonian caps and tunic armour? Cant wait for the cavalry too!

These look really good.

A small suggestion:
Since this set comes with such a large variety of helmets, it would be cool if you made a post explaining what era they were used in and by whom. As someone who isn’t that knowledgeable about this era in history, that would help a lot.

(Kind of like the post where you explained what all the heads in the Army Builder can be used for and which tribes they represent.)
