Preview: Our Next Late Roman Set!

Tooling is about to wrap up on the next set for the Decline and Fall range: Late Roman Legionaries (2): Lorica Squamata! We are just days away from T1 (the first test shot). Let's take a look at what's in the set. 

First we have a full frame with six unique bodies of legionaries designed by Rob Macfarlane: 

This frame includes six helmet types along with optional crests for some. A mix of sword, spear, and plumbata darts. A cornu and two standards provide command options. All of the parts are also compatible with the previously released Late Roman Legionaries (1): Lorica Hamata and also with our Goths and Dark Ages Army Builder sets. You'll be able to use these bodies for noble warriors for many of the Germanic, Britannic, or Frank tribes.

We also have six unique waterslide shield decal boxes coming to help you recreate six of the Roman legions of the time (based on contemporary designs found in the Notitia Dignitatum). These were designed by Steve Beckett.
