I went with the Witchhunters, which sounded fun, but really the (fantasy) Vampire Hunters currently only in digital looks more like what I’d go with if I had a choice, and they’re definitely not Age-of-Reason. The pirates, highwaymen, and woodland tribal warriors also seem either fun or generically useful as well.
Honestly though, I have a difficult time imagining how to justify an entire box of highwaymen now that I think of it: sounds like a great Digital Atlantic set!
After seeing the poll results (so far), I kinda wish I could go back and add my votes onto what seemed to me the Usual Suspects of AWI Americans, British, French, Hessians, and Native Americans: I was amazed they don’t seem to be getting many votes so far! These seem like the backbone of an Age of Reason product line, from an American perspective at least, and surely cover a lot of Old World ground as well, and nobody seems to have suggested Portuguese and Spanish armies, which also seemed to me like natural additions, but perhaps wouldn’t have seen anywhere near so many votes as I expected.
If I were betting on these polls, I’d lose every time….
