Not small scale, but larger! There is a gap in the market for 54mm/1:32 figures for the American Civil War TSSD and Conte are very expensive and soft plastic. There are a lot of serious gamers and modellers on both side of the Atlantic who would buy these.

Because I just got Battletech: a game of armored combat as a birthday present from a friend and now I’m going to need 6mm Infantry to march into battle
alongside my Stompy War Machines.
Also GW is now bringing back Epic Armageddon in 8mm for cross compatability with Adeptus Titanicus and Aeronautica Imperialu, and I feel better parting with my money here at WA with you nice people. Personally I’d rather not give GW any more money than I have to.

12mm ancients, medieval and fantasy. Community made variants of Warmaster and Warmaster ancients are among the warmaster scale rules that are popular.

For ancients it’s hard to get any good 10mm ancient Italians or Carthaginians

Sorry mate but 1/72 is not popular except with the 51 and older crowd and is dying for all age groups below that. The Great Wargames Survey confirms this.

When there wasn’t a lot of choice for models all the cheap soft plastic filled a lot of gaps in armies. With so many choices in metal and plastic and 3D print for 28s there’s no need for those and it’s just the guys who have been gaming the longest who have a lot of that left over.

20mm / 1/72 is immensely popular. Especially if something like sci-fi was chosen.

Not sure if 15mm or 18mm would be best.

I would think a wiser methodology would entail polling a much wider audience. Those here will most likely be here for 28mm, not smaller scales.

I Have been Waiting for someone to make either Ancients or Napoleonics in 15mm Plastic, even thought of making a Miniature line for my Napoleonic rules I am writing, but not sure where to start, if you started a 15mm Napoleonic or Ancients line i would be all in.

15mm! There are an ever increasing number of 28mm plastics out there. But how many 15mm? The only hard plastic 15mm that I am aware of is PSC, and they’re only WW2. There are some soft resin, but the price is about that of metal. Oh – forgot Warlord. Their Pike&Shotte Epic are true 15mm aren’t they?

Striking out into the popular scale of 15mm, to be the first to bring hard plastics to various eras, would be ideal. Imagine – a single box that would contain everything to do ACW. Or Republican Romans.

I will most likely only buy stuff in 15mm and (much less) 6mm.

Both for building armies. For 15mm I would love to have sprues that allow individualization like the current sprues for Conquistadors, Romans or Dark Age Irish. Perhaps a bit less (heads, arms).

No other scale will see money from me, though I wish you good luck with any.

12mm and 15 mm fit existing rules sets. 1/72 might be popular, given the wide range of vehicles, scenery and so on made by a plethora of firms like airfix, Italiari, etc.
