The Harvesters Begin Their Infestation!

Congratulations to Josh Stanley - our Name the Bugs Contest Winner with his entry for "Harvesters"! Josh will be getting 10 boxes (300 of the buggers) for his efforts! In the end we narrowed it down to five finalists and the 4 runners up will also be receiving a box of bugs.

I think the weapon arms look out of place as one-offs. A design allowing for two weapon arms per model would have been superior.

I like the vibe and can totally see the three limb run with the gun ones. They’re aliens and I bet if we could see them in a movie they’d look sick. The ones they showed on Facebook with 25mm bases look like tough xenomorphs.

They look pretty good, but I’m gonna be honest. Those bio gun arms visually do not work with a quadrupedal configuration when every other limb is a talon. It’s very awkward looking. I’m sure finding a way to mount these elsewhere on the model won’t be too hard though. Maybe under-belly.

Perfect timing. Been gearing up for Quarantine 37 and just finished assembling zombies. A box or two of these should cover the xenomorph parts. Now I just need a queen.

I think my big complaint with the kit is just how much bigger the Harvesters were than I think we thought they’d be. It’ll be tricky getting them to sit comfortably on a 25mm base, if it’s even possible to do so.
