The Orcs March Into Color!

The Orcs March Into Color!

Marco Capparoni has delivered a stunning painting to grace the cover of the upcoming Classic Fantasy Battles Orc Infantry in Grand Battle Scale. This set is in tooling now with an expected T1 date of December 15th!

We thought you'd like to see the progression as Marco concepted this piece, sketched it out, and then colorized:

A question concerning the new 10mm Fantasy range (and I believe it’s planned for its own ruleset?) – what would be the basing parameters/recommendations for units?

Say I want to get a head start on Orc units here, but bases aren’t included with the sprues (and that’s another question actually), so what would be advised for stand sizes, anticipating a new Wargames Atlantic Fantasy Battles game is coming?

Anything you send our way…….

This set looks great! Does T1 date of December 15th mean release date? 🤞

Some bada$$, haunted Legionary there!

First time I look at your news page and wham you got me, I’ll be 61 in January so hopefully this will be on my toy list. Orcs vs Samurai now that is very interesting.

These look amazing.
Well now I know what I ll get me for my birthday army :D
BTW: I just love how transparent WA is about products and releases.

This is all beautiful! Will we ever see 28mm scale orcs in plastic from Wargames Atlantic?

Maurice - November 30, 2024

Cover art is stunning. I would buy a quality print of that, if it was available!

They’re green…but I’ll forgive you as it is good art and I’m sure some enterprising individual will reskin them as Tolkien goblins.. and satisfies us great unwashed LotR fans…Really looking forward to this set of figures…great work WA….

I’ve been wanting plastic 10mm fantasy for a while. I hope they expand the range.

El Diablito - November 29, 2024

Very cool! I “need” a few of them for my existing armies
