You’re in a little luck there: check out the pre-order page for a preview of the sprue lay-out for the Sentinels: they will come with a choice of the machine gun, a flame-thrower, and two types of swords, as well as a choice between open mechanical hands and robotic pincers. A bigger variety of stuff would be nice, but even those choices expand the usefulness of these guys quite a bit.

In fact, it looks like all the models in the kit will have a variety of head, arm/weapon, and accessory options to choose from: they might be a bit tricky to kitbash with compared to the usual WGA historical, fantasy, pulp, and sci-fi sets, but there will still be some variety in what can be built with this kit, which certainly adds value to the kit.

Very nice. I’m not really into Trench Crusade, but these guys look like they’ll fit right into ‘The Last War’, these models look fantastic, and bumping up the number of models really adds value to a set I’ve been on the fence over. I think I’m sold on it now.

I’ll definitely second a set of just the bots/power-armor: that’s nearly exactly the sort of thing I’m hoping to see more of when I upvote anything involving retro-robots or mechanical men! And, since they double as Classic Fantasy “iron golems” and would easily serve as a robotic Death Fields faction, pretty much everyone this side of the historical/fantasy-scifi spectrum would win!

I second a request for a box of just the Sentinel bots. I have no interest in Trench Crusade or adjacent models, but the world could definitely use more Steampunk and Dieselpunk automata models in plastic.

Definitively keeping an eye out for these next year, as soon as I have digested my Damned :-)
