Vox Populi - Turning Your Votes Into Plastic Sets!

Introducting Vox Populi our new program to turn your votes into new plastic sets.

We have a track record of letting YOU decide what we make. The Aztecs, Conquistadors, and Landsknecht Ogres were all the result of your ideas and your votes. Now we want to take that concept and make it into a more formal system.

Vox Populi gives you the opportunity to vote on which of the sets we have in development will be made first. Click here to learn more!

Balls. This is crowdfunding by another name, pure and simple. Not only will I not play along with this, I’m reconsidering ever buying anything made by you again. Good thing the local store has had so much trouble stocking your recent releases, I’ve got time to tell them cancel all my preorders without screwing them over for your bad behavior.

Thank you for the clarification. It’s absolutely welcome. Happy to see you’ll keep on working on “true” minis…

However, we have here a strong CULTURAL DESAGREEMENT between Anglo-Saxon world (mainly right-sided) and the European way of understanding how – and why – to vote in a democratic system. I understand the problem of the spammers, but…

“You pay, you vote”. Here is the return of the old idea of the census vote (le vote censitaire), abolished in all great democracies since the end of the 19th century (in 1848 for France). A true right-side and old conservative idea (a way back ?).

I will abstain : the principle is not fair.

This seems like a good way to manage the potential Boaty McBoatface situation and it is great that WGA is still seeking such customer input for future developments.

A great idea and real innovation (again) from WGA. Time to buy some votes for Warring States and Egyptians….!

Paul Mitting - January 19, 2023

I like it. The $5 per vote is a way to ensure the votes are from legitimately interested people and not just spammers. Allowing that $5 to be used to buy the set when it is made or any other WGA product is an excellent concept. Some will hate this whole idea but I agree – it’s about putting your money where your mouth is!
