Wargames Atlantic Hobby Corner
Greetings Wargamers!
Here at Wargames Atlantic, our team is always tinkering with new projects using our available and soon-to-come sets. In this blog post, Max shows off some of the artillery power of late Rome.

Hello everyone! I'm the length of a Spatha deep into a Late Roman Army project. While painting Vexillatio's of armored and unarmored infantry is fun, sometimes you need a palette cleanser.
Enter the Wargames Atlantic Digital Late Roman Onager set. Printed by our print provider Strange Plastic, this siege engine is a relatively easy to build resin kit containing the onager itself and 4 crew.

I've painted the onager with a simple drybrush two tone brown, and the crew with a similar scheme to the rest of my army. In this case, I decided the embroidery on the late roman tunics would be a lighter blue than the rest of the army. I'm quite happy with the result, though i think a few more engines are needed to fill out a proper battery.
The whole set is based on a 80mm x 100mm MDF base.

You can pick up your own onager set from strange plastic at the link below:
