Wargames Atlantic Is Coming to Salute 53 — And We’re Going Big

Salute is always a highlight of the wargaming calendar, but Salute 53 is shaping up to be something truly special for Wargames Atlantic. This year, we’re not just attending — we’re making a statement.

Front and Centre on the Show Floor

We’re delighted to confirm that Wargames Atlantic will have a large stand positioned right near the front of the hall at Salute 53. You won’t have to hunt for us — we’ll be one of the first things you see as you come in.

This bigger footprint means more space to show off what we do best, more room to talk hobby, and more opportunities to get hands-on with our games and miniatures.

Demo Games All Day

We’ll be running live demo games throughout the show, giving you the chance to see our systems in action, ask questions, and maybe even roll a few dice yourself. Planned demos include:

• The Barons’ War – Medieval skirmish gaming at its finest
  
  

• Classic Fantasy Battles – Rank-and-flank fantasy warfare with old-school soul
  
  

• Quar – Our long-running and much-loved setting, full of character and charm
  
  

Whether you’re a veteran player or completely new to these games, our team will be on hand to walk you through them.

The Salute 53 Limited Edition Miniature

This year, we’re especially proud to share something truly unique:

Wargames Atlantic designed and is producing the official Salute 53 limited edition show miniature.

Inspired by the Islamic cavalry of the Middle Ages, the miniature is based on Saladin (Ṣalāḥ ad-Dīn Yūsuf ibn Ayyūb), founder of the Ayyubid dynasty and one of the most iconic figures of the 12th century. Our design team drew on historical paintings, statues, and artistic interpretations from across centuries, combining them into a striking mounted figure that we’re incredibly proud of.

Even better, this isn’t a metal or resin piece — the Salute 53 miniature will be available as a fully plastic kit, designed and produced by Wargames Atlantic, bringing all the versatility and quality hobbyists expect from modern plastic miniatures.
