This is a set containing 12 multi-part Afghan cavalry.
There are 2 horseman poses in the set (six of each) - They are not identical, but the differences are too small to worry about. The biggest difference is that one has boots, the other has shoes.
Two poses, yes. But no less than 13 heads with various headgear. Some headgear may be unique to particular tribes, but I don't know! The faces are detailed and expressive.
There are arms for a drummer, 2 swordsmen, 3 jezzailmen, and a lancer, plus a jezzail, 2 bucklers, and a scabbarded sword to add as you wish.
There are 4 sprues of WA's 'Light Horse.' Each sprue has 3 bodies, 4 heads and reins - There is plenty of scope for unique poses, read the Light Horse product description for more. One thing to praise, the horses have decently thick ankles - Too many horses come with thin, fragile ankles. These are nice. The reins may be confusing at first, but they work well.
The figures assemble easily, and paint up well. The faces are very convincing and deserve some attention.
These figures are recommended, and should sweep your foes off the table!
