THOSE WHO ARE ABOUT TO DIE...HATE YOU.

These are the dregs of the Death Fields sport: the washouts, the mental cases, the warriors who just can't cut it or the teams whose strategy, training, or cunning have fallen behind new, younger franchises... These are also the one final chance for an owner to profit.

Cobbled together into a horde and given basic weaponry, the typical Cannon Fodder bout is an ugly display of sheer numbers thrown at a standard roster team. Defeat is an almost foregone conclusion, but not always, and audiences often root for these men, women, and beings sent to fight to a final, Real Death.

This box set includes enough parts to build 24 hard plastic troops with standard rifles and plasma weapons along with grenades, backpacks, and other accessories to customize your force. Five different head types allow for very different looks for your team. Alternatively you can use them for planetary or near future militia, escaped prisoners, starship crew, and more. Mix and match arms with WAADF005 for even more options!

4 sprues included.

Models require assembly and painting. Bases are not included. Product contents may vary from photos.

I love this kit

While I see the lack of instructions a downside for some, for me it wasn't even an issue, thanks in part to how simple to put together this kit is and how quickly you can figure it out. I love all the options this kit gives, and with all the heads poses, arms, and guns the can be used for more than just prisoners and soldiers. You can use them for the bodies of prisoners guards, mechanics, etc. And the price makes this kit even better, genuinely has made me consider looking at over kit manufacturers that aren't gw.

Tldr: I give it a plasmagun out of of rifle with a extended mag, would buy again.

Decent kit with some downsides

Lack of instructions and no clear numbering of the parts is a massive downside for me with this kit. What arm goes with what gun? The male set had these all neatly numbered and arrayed, but with this kit none of the parts are numbered or arrayed in such a way that you can see which pairs match together for the best fit. I figured that maybe the layout on the site here could help me out and while the parts are all neatly numbered in a digital mock-up, there is no logic to what matches with what, leading to a somewhat frustrating afternoon piecing everything together.

Other than that, there's a good selection of heads included for variety, the poses are solid and they do what they need to do: provide a decent alternative to other ranges out there.

A very solid kit

I'll be up front about this, I mainly bought this kit for the head options.
Because female heads that aren't screaming or sneering are rare to come by unless you have a printer at hand. Which I don't.
The sculpting quality on the faces are great, especially like the ones with the slightly cocky smirk to them. An expression I feel you don't see that often with wargame models.
The only real complaint I have is that hair feels a bit flat and lacking in detail, it's hard to highlight it to make it pop when it's so flat. More braid and pony tail options would've also been nice to see on the sprue.
But they work great with both older and newer Imperial Guard models without being too noticeable out of proportion.
Not to mention, with four sprues worth of heads I'll have lots of them to use.

I should add that the rest of the kit is very nice as well. The weapons are a bit on the blander side design wise, but that's clearly intentional. I'll probably end up using a lot of that stuff for *something* down the line.
