The war that would be over by Christmas 1914 drags on. Soldiers on both sides are confronted by the grim reality of modern war: trenches, barbed wire, machine guns, and poison gas. Still, battles must be fought and won at any cost.


This hard plastic box set allows you to build up to 30 German infantry equipped with rifles, MP-18, MG-08/15, grenades, pistols, and hand-to-hand weapons. We have also included enough heads to outfit every figure with stahlhelm, helmets with gasmask, feldmütze (field cap), or pickelhaube.

Some bodies have been left without rifle ammunition pouches so that you can turn them into officers but there are separate pieces to allow every figure to be a standard rifleman as well. 10 loose grenades per sprue so you can go full-on trench raiding!

The Great War

It is nice to see WWI represented. I mostly see figures from WWII and Napoleonics. Some of us like different eras of history. Me I am a big AWI builder but that is just me. Keep up with the diverse products.

I’ve made a habit to buy all the different Great War kits and this one does not disappoint at all! If you’re looking for a kit that allows you to build across different t time periods of WW1 and with the added option of gas attack then this is the kit for you. Even better with a bit of kit bashing this kit can double up as an Austrian army!

Great looking models!

Just getting into WWI war gaming, and these models are the first I bought after shopping around. The box makes them look good but once i got them home and assembled and painted they are amazing! Easy to assemble, fun to paint and base. I just couldn't stop working on this project. Cant wait to buy my next box. Thanks Wargames Atlantic for making this range.
