TO ARMS!
The peasant levy could make up a bulk of an army during this time period but were rarely the decisive element in a battle. They were raised in one of three ways, as members of a lord's household, as mercenaries, or levied from a town or the countryside. Many of the men were armed, had some training, and came from the upper peasantry, the tenant farmers who would have at one time had prior experience of a battle.

This hard plastic box set allows you to build up to 30 levy with a wide variety of weapons, including spear, bow, club, sling, ax, sword, and a variety of farm implements as a last resort. A variety of heads allow for even more customization and parts can be combined with the other sets in the range.

There are two unique frames in this set (see photos above)

This is the second in a new range - The Age of Chivalry - that will soon include Sergeants, Levy, and cavalry sets to go with the existing Foot Knights.

Models require assembly and painting. Bases are not included. Not for Children. Contents may vary from photos.

Versatile Peasants

I bought a box of Peasant Levy with the idea of using them as soldiers for Frostgrave. They have been great for this purpose.
I have also pressed six of them into service as Lion Rampant Norman skirmishers. I know they are meant to be slightly later, but they seem work well with my Victrix Normans.
I have a number of WA boxed sets and would like to reiterate the common complaint that it can be difficult to match limbs, especially with two handed weapons. This means I always seem to end up with a pile of loose limbs that don’t quite fit that I then have to try not to lose. Please, please, please upload a .pdf of the sprues for each set along with preferred pairings of limbs, torsos and the like. I can choose to ignore it if I’m kit bashing or converting, but it would really help when I’m not.
Overall I’d say this is a great kit and I’m looking forward to getting some paint on the figures I’ve assembled so far.

Hi Stuart - the arm pairs are marked on the frame with number/letter combos. A1/A2, B1/B2, etc.

timely arrival, weapon's, sprues are a bit fragile due to how thin the weapons are cast. Good selections of heads and arms.
