Fitting six-orc rows of models onto a base

  Hi all! I'm new to 10mm minis, so this is maybe a dumb question, but I'm currently having a really hard time getting the orcs to rank up correctly in lines of six on the bases. The strip of five matches well with any of the singletons, but when I try to get the strip of three and the strip of two in line together with any of the singletons they just don't seem to fit and spill over the edge of the base. I've had this issue with both the axemen and the light swordsmen at this point, which makes me think I must be missing something here.

  I haven't put mine in bases just yet, but with other small scale guys you may have to shave the strip down a little to fit. Or you can kinda tilt the strip a little. It doesn't make for neat ranks but you make like that look in orcs.
