Awhile I ago I came across the Les Grognards line and fell in love with the kits like everyone else. Here's what I've been working on since then, a force with design influences from France's Interwar period as well as the French Foreign Legion from that era, with small creative liberties here and there to better fit into the 40k setting.
Basic Troop Design
Vehicle Camo Patterns
Great stuff! Loving the camo on the tank and mecha, and the Death Fields figures work great for this concept!
(I've noticed that the WWI French Infantry include bits that make for some great Foreign Legion type figures in a less sci-fi style, too! I'm glad WA has covered the subject as part of some very versatile kits - I think these kits are going to see a lot of use in creative conversions!)
@Marcus Porche I'm a fan of this look you came up with. Painting the armor like brown leather, it looks great.
These are great! I really need to grab some Grognards to go with certain Korpsmen when I get around to them.
This looks awesome :) now I need to get a few boxes from this line too to start my Imperial Guard army I didn't know I need :D
