THE ULTIMATE TOOLS FOR MODEL PREP

The main file, with its slim 8mm width, is perfect for smoothing mold lines on larger surfaces. Meanwhile, the round file features a pointed edge to reach into tight spots with ease. Both are made from nano glass, ensuring a scratch-free finish while also removing white stress marks to restore the plastic’s original grey color and flawless surface. Cleaning is simple—just rinse with water to remove plastic residue. For best results, pair these files with our Hard Plastic Clippers to expertly prep your models for painting.

I dropped $30 on disposable files about a week before these went up for pre-order. When they were announced, I immediately went for it. No regrets. Moldlines vanish from nooks I could only reach with a blade and risk cutting before. It makes quick work of most filing and frankly feels more eco/wallet friendly if I can just use these. After a week, I can swear by them.

Great File when detail work or a gentle hand is required

This file leaves a remarkably clean surface on sprue snip points. I wouldn't consider them general purpose files. I think I would only pull them out when Im hitting sprue points on high visibility surface as it does take longer to file. Result is beautiful though.
