This star team of the Death Fields circuit brings it’s A game to every match with their battle cry: “Vive la France!” When the rules of the games allow they are able to field heavy support weapons and specialists to give them the edge that will mean the difference between sweet victoire or shameful defeat.

This box set includes enough parts to build 6 28mm weapons with 12 figures that can act as both crew and command. Options include: tri-barell cannon, quad ball turret, heavy plasma weapon, and mortar. Specialist troops like snipers, medics, communication specialists, standard bearers and field officers can also be built. Along with all the existing head options for Les Grognards, this box set includes four new female head types.

There are three main sprues as seen above and also two head sprues so that you can outfit every figure in the box with any type of open or gasmask version of the four types of headgear: Adrian helmet, shako, bearskin, or kepi. 

All parts in this set are also compatible with the Les Grognards infantry box to give you even more poses and options.

All that and the kitchen sink

This kit is even better than its older sibling kit, the Las Grognards infantry. Its standard load out is either 6 heavy weapon teams and/or a command squad. BUT… with a little imagination, you can actually build soooo much more. I personally use mine for Vastroyan’s from a popular wargame based in a dark and grim future, but the options this kit has mean you can use it for basically any table top game with fire arms. Both this and its older sibling kit have a strong steam punk vibe and the amount and variety of heads that it comes with means you can almost have each model have a unique head/helmet. Just be warned, there are no instructions on how to build the models so soft fit them first. Also, remember they do not come with bases. Overall, this kit is a 9.75 out of 10 for me.

When in France...

Absolutely had to get this kit once I learned it was out.
Not only does it let me boeuf up my grognards, but it also has a plethora of new options for your minis, like the options to create a leader, a medic, and a Comms officer among others, and the heavy weapons are a refreshing change too, particularly the ball turret platform.
This kit is a big win.

Great options and utility

This pairs really well with the Les Grognard infantry box and really helps to fit out the Grognard options. With the Grognard cavalry in plastic just on the horizon, this is truly one of the most complete and flavorful factions available to the Death Fields range.

Les Grognards command and heavy weapons

Les Grognards command and heavy support is one of the most complete sets on the market, for both command and heavy support. The design of the heavy weapons guns are unique and fabulous. The command portion of the box are awesome, the bottle and wine glass just make this set perfect. This set bows the competition out of the water.

Great support kit to go along with the regular Grognard box. Heavy weapons are great and can be built a couple different ways.

The command sprue is really good! And the bottle of wine is a perfect gribbly bit
