A CHARGE OF BRIGHT STEEL!

Gunpowder cannon transformed the battlefields of Europe in the late 15th and into the 16th century and then those battlefields were transformed again as matchlock and wheel-lock firearms could be fielded by infantry…and cavalry. Cavalry of the period was typically of two main types: the Demi-lancer and the Reiter. Both typically wore three-quarters plate armor specializing on the lance for the former and a combination of sword and pistol for the latter. 

This hard plastic box set allows you to build up to 12 riders equipped with sword, matchlock pistol, wheel-lock pistol, and lance. Optional armor pieces are included for the horses (or the horses can be used plain with the included saddles). A mix of hat and helmet types will expand their use to the battlefields of Europe in the 15th and 16th and into the 17th centuries. 8 War Dogs complete the box.

Models require assembly and painting. Bases are not included. Not for Children. Contents may vary from photos.

Everything that was promised and more

Horses are easy to build and riders have good amount of variation. Wardogs are a cool bonus. Remember to buy bases as minies don't come with those.

Fantastic kit as always

Kit arrived very promptly within 3 days of purchase, excellent service. The models are fantastically sculpted as always with plenty of head and weapon options. Found the 8 dogs on the sprue to be a nice bonus. Another nice bonus is that even though there are only 12 horses in the box, there is an entire extra riders sprue, so you have 16 rider bodies and all the accompanying bits.

Best thing about this box is how well all the extra weapons (especially the pistol) can be kirbashed with other miniature kits, particularly the WA conquistadors, though I've also used the pistol arms on their Huard miniatures and a few Oathmark kit.

All this for a very competitive price.

In short, absolutley incredible kit, will definitely be placing an order for another box (or two!) In future

This set of horsemen are a fun of models to assemble and paint in addition you get 4 more figures than horses so there is little flexibility in setting up your forces or buy a box of extra horses either way fun set

Some of the best cuirassiers on the market. Only complaint is the kit needs more left and options.
