YOU WILL NOT SEE DEATH COMING…

Like The Vain, The SneakFeet were similarly misled by greedy owners. Owned by Advantage DFCW, the team was first founded as a sniper-only unit made up of humans that had been reaped from a variety of Earth conflicts over the centuries. This was a long term project by the Advantage team owner who saw the market opportunity to provide specialist units as one-off match add-ons for existing teams. What we now know as FREE AGENTS teams.

Claiming that she could provide the team with genetic modifications that would allow them to increase their stealthiness, accuracy, and overall effectiveness, she failed to discuss the side effects to achieve these benefits: larger, padded feet for stealth and to make footwear unnecessary, diminished stature to better remain hidden, and the ability to consume massive quantities of food in order to achieve a hibernation-like state where even the heart rate slowed to a near stop prior to trigger-pull.

Given that these changes were irreversible, the majority of the team have embraced their new abilities and continued to hone their skills on and off the battlefield. When the SneakFeet join another Death Fields team, spectators are guaranteed to see some truly impressive “feets” of marksmanship.

This set allows you to build up to 24 SneakFeet with both sniper rifles and their standard SMG. A large selection of heads and other bits allows for massive customization.

Death on Hairy Feet

Nice work overall, and I was very glad to add more halflings with sniper rifles to my forces. Fit is reasonably good. Variety of poses possible so-so. Be warned that the only uniform headgear is ball caps. You can get a bandana, or a ball cap worn backwards, but if you want, say, helmets, boonie hats or such, you'll have to make supplemental arrangements. (I'm doing so.) Same thing with outfitting an RTO. There's an arm holding a pistol, but the only available holster has a pistol in it. But these are minor things. Eventually, I'll have 48 uniformed for various climates, and I'll be very glad to have them.

Sneakfeet - Death from below

The latest Death Fields offering is one that will surely prove to be popular - A set of 24 Halfling snipers for SF games.

Included are 6 sprues, each with 4 bodies, and 9 heads. The bodies are as you'd expect, short, tubby, and barefoot. The poses are good, even though there's not much you can do with the body type, They have light equipment, and pleasingly, their pouches look like pouches rather than shallow pseudo-pouches.

The heads are mostly in fatigue caps, the rest bare or in a do-rag. The faces are full of character and expression. There is the obligatory head smoking a pipe, and it is very well done.

For weapons we have 4 sniper rifles, 4 SMGs, and a pistol, plus 9 left arms to hold guns, pointing, or holding other objects. The arms are numbered so you can see which goes with which.

There are also a few bits to add to figures, including a frying pan with eggs in it for the 'Halflings must be silly' crowd.

Not least because the arms are numbered, they assemble easily and quickly, and the results are pleasing. They paint up well using contrast paints, washes, or dry brushes.

This set is quick and easy to build, with a lot of variety. You can also use parts from the Fantasy halflings for unique figures. It will provide you with a nice force of snipers, or some extra-sneaky scouts. Recommended.
