New Set Announcement: British Infantry (1916-1918)

We can present the first batch of sculpts for the next set in our Great War range: British Infantry (1916-1918)!

(open image in a new tab for a close up)

This is where we are in the sculpting process. We have some more arms and another body pose to do.

These could also be useful for the pre-war period, the interwar period (VBCW anyone?), and with a bit of squinting even into WW2! (Although probably better left to our World Ablaze range!)

Let us know what you think of them below and we will continue to move them along! Which WW1 set should we tackle next? Post your thoughts and maybe we can have a poll on it.

Looking amazing as always, can’t wait to buy a bunch of slouch hats and lemon squeezers to kitbash these guys into ANZACs.

@Ernesto Rodriguez I keep seeing you comment the same thing under every news article, I think the guys at WA have probably seen it already, and I doubt that spamming it will improve the chances of it happening. Have you tried joining the Wargames Atlantic Legion group on Facebook? That might be a better place to discuss ideas for such a kit in case they ever get around to producing it.

You could do some commonwealth sprues to go with it at some point. I’d love some fully bearded scruffy canadian heads (maybe with urine clothes on their face) and maybe some highlanders wearing kilts. Just saying. Love them however.

Make space amazons for death fields!

I’d live to see some Russian sets WWI, revolution or WW2

They look great. Next german heavy weapons please! A set with tripod mounted machinegun, flamethrower, anti-tank rifle, etc.

Oh, and also keep the Sepoy/Sikh heads (not sure which they are, would assume Sikh), there is already plenty of Pith Helmets out there already so you don’t really need them for this set (if you want to do Brits for straight VSF or real British colonial conflicts that’s when to do them), Slouch hats might be good though as would Irish war of independence head swaps (which would work for VBCW too).

Austrians, Serbs, Italians and Gurkha.

Superb look to the new set, especially the sikh heads, they will come in very handy. Outstanding as always.

How about kilted Highlanders, and U.S. infantry??
