Preview: Classic Fantasy Battles Dwarven Host

The Dwarven Host is about to march! Our next release for Classic Fantasy Battles is almost upon us! 

Like the Orc Horde, this box features a full frame with figures to build six types of units along with command and casualties. The Orcs and Dwarves make up the core of the Evil and Good armies in the upcoming Classic Fantasy Battles starter set, but future releases will be smaller frames focused on one type of unit. For example, Boneblades are sword/shield skeletons, Horselords (01) will be standard cavalry, the Elven Queensguard are halberdiers, etc. This way you will be able to add specific units to your Good or Evil army - or over time build complete armies for each race. 

Here's a bit about the Dwarves and what's in the box: 

The Dwarven Host boxes are en route to the US, injection is happening in the UK, and soon the mold will be in the US. So not much longer to wait for these!

It looks like the crossbow troops are the cloaked ones with their backs facing the camera (the crossbows are hidden in the picture).

The sprues look great, loving the variety of weapons, even if swords (!) are a little unusual for Dwarves. Really looking forward to a Dwarves 02 or Dwarves 03 box with artillery/war machines and, hopefully, gunners/crossbow dwarves.

Huh, so the description does say there are missile units in the box. Perhaps they are on a separate sprue from the one pictured? Either way, looks like a nice addition to the range!
