Some additions with mounted archers and sergeants-at-arms for some Chevauchée scenarios would be nice. Same for some French militia and regular foot soldiers please!

Looking great but smaller boxes like the fantasy ones that come in at a more manage k starter price would be very welcome!

Amazing stuff! I second the notion that WA should consider releasing smaller boxes for these armies so players can expand their armies or build different forces as needed. New sprues featuring other troop types from this period that allow us to field other nation’s armies would also be welcome!

Bruce - December 9, 2025

Yeah, both the French and English sprues in the more traditional size package would be great. A box or two of the French and some English archers would do for quite a few WMA Medieval army lists.

Just wanted to add a +1 that I’m also looking at these boxes for 10mm Lion Rampant. For my part what I’ll probably do is buy a box of the English figures and paint them to look like two different armies (they’ve got the less armored melee troops, which are ultimately important) but I’d love to be able to buy a supplemental box with a few frames of mounted knights down the road.

Mr. White - December 7, 2025

Do these armies include command figures or are they only blocks of troop units?

Mr. White - December 7, 2025

Javier, I’m also looking at these models for 10mm Lion Rampant, but feel these boxes are way too large for what I’ll need. I might pass because of the price and scope here. Either way, what models would you use for leaders at this scale?

I agree, though, the same models but in the Classic Fantasy Battles size would be ideal.

When do we get more barons war sprues!! I want that command frame!!

Javier - December 6, 2025

I wasn’t convinced by the large size of these boxes (because I use 10mm to play games like Lion Rampant on a smaller board so I have no use for so many), but the pricing is really good here, especially on the English box so I may be getting that one.

That being said do consider selling these in the Classic Fantasy Battles format(9 bases’ worth of a single unit) too! These sprues can be really useful for a variety of army projects.
