I've not seen any chatter about these yet.

Great to see WA covering the Arab Revolt. i'll definately pick some of these up. I'd love to see some plastic Cavalry and Camelry. My only gripe is the pistols not being service revolvers. I'm sure I could easily fix that though.
Interesting. I knew he shot his camel, I didn't know with what pistol. I see why the filmmakers went with the service revolver. The clashing aesthetic of the clothing and the weapon looks off.
@Jon Birkinshaw From what I remember the Arabs had a lot of diffrent pistols during WW1 ranging from German Lugers to orinate flintlocks that had been in the family for generations (so lots of room for varity). Just based on the thread convo they picked the 1911 because Lawrence did actually carry one.
@Brian Van De Walker @Grumpy Gnome All that fantastic life , then he comes home to England and crashes his motor bike on the way to Gallows Hill at Wareham, on the cross road up from Bovington Camp. Crying shame to be cut down like that.
@George Spiggott Lawrence actually preferred the Browning automatic pistol. If you want I can find sources for you. It would be no trouble.
There is a picture of Trooper Thorne,Captain wood and Lawrence which seems to show him with a Colt.45 automatic a weapon he thought highly of(Murphy,D. Lawrence of Arabia,pg22,Osprey,2011)
