Other interesting options for "Armor" themed "Imperial Conquests" sets:
Tlingit Warriors....

They are ready to do battle with the Russians.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Sitka
Wargames Illustrated had a good write up on the battle with scenario a few years ago.
@JTam These Kiribati warriors would be great for some fantasy sea people, a more sophistycated version of Ghost Archipelago's tribals, a sort of "lost world"!👍
@Alessio De Carolis
Indeed.
Super exotic equipment.
The armor of course is super distinctive.
(Stingray breastplate).
And the swords and spears!
Maybe some WW1 German Infantry bodies with breastplates to work with the WGA plastic kit.
If going with Persian Marines for Ancients for a "Seamen" theme.....
Perhaps include a historical Artemisia:
And a more popular culture Artemisia:
@JTam This kind of body armours were also donned by the assault engineers tasked with the (almost) suicidal task of destroying barbwire's fences in WWI. And yes, Power armours, if well done, would be a cool add to WGA's sci-fi range.
@Alessio De Carolis snipers were known to use it as well.
@Mark Dewis And also by sentries, expecially in forward posts.
Theme - "Personal Firepower":
Time for more dakka.
Death Fields prone sniper.... Something along these lines:
For Imperial Conquests....
Enfield arms:

And pakol heads:
To turn WGA Afghan Warriors:
Into Soviet era Mujahideen:
SMLE arms won't be in short supply soon... 😉
I could go some Lee-Metfords and early Lee-Enfields, and their carbine versions though.
@Mark Dewis
Plenty of SMLEs available soon from the WW1 British and WW2 Early War British kit as you said.
But if you want to bash it, you don't have to wait. The Enfield rifle in picture 1 and 4 above is a Enfield No 4 MK I... Which you can find in Wargames Atlantic's SAS/Commando kit.
SMLE:
SMLE on the WGA WW1 British Infantry:
No 4 MK I:
No 4 MK I on SAS/Commando sprue:
@JTam for Afghanistan even Martini-Henry rifles are not unheard of. Plenty of SMLEs as well as No.4's; for the most part those rifles were obtained between the 1840's and the 1940's. Number 4 rifles were a lot less common on the subcontinent though - surplus SMLE stocks tended to get sent there, and to other colonial armouries.
In addition, a lot of the Afghan weapons are locally made copies and can be a bit hybrid.
Personal Firepower for the German WW1 Infantry:
MP18
Lugers with snail drums.
WW2 Personal Firepower:
Vickers K machineguns and drum pouches for the WGA plastic SAS/Commandos kit.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vickers_K_machine_gun
G43s and StG44s for the plastic Panzer Lehr kit.
The Panzer Lehr didn't have StG44s at Normandy but it adds a lot of flexibility to the kit.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/StG_44
Back to the Lugers with snail drums.
Artillery (long barrel) Lugers with the detachable buttstock and snail drums were issued to Sturmtruppen.
Could either make glue on holsters:
And snail drum pouches:
Or make whole bodies with this equipment molded on.

GW sneak peaked this today:

For the WW2 Dutch, a really interesting option would be the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army. Largely comprised of Indonesians with Dutch leadership it saw some hard fighting and had a unique look and some unique equipment.
You know you want to have NEI troops to cross swords (literally) with the Imperial Japanese Army.
Does the Death Fields have "Star Players"? They do now. Enter Freya, star player for the Einherjar riding a grav chariot pulled by cyber cats and dispensing death with a power axe.
Something like this:
Mixed with this:
But you know, shorter.
Alternatively, would be an awesome Valkyrie star player as well.
Instead of a Renaissance classical revival statue, how about Hussite War Wagons (15thC)?
@Mark Dewis
That's a great idea.
Hussite War Wagon:
Otherwise a Renaissance style Greek god in chariot might look like this:
The other Death Fields idea is a pod racer like fast attack choice for pretty much any of the factions.
Like this ^ but with guns.
For Classic Fantasy Ye Old Skeleton Chariot.
I think this would be very well received by the gaming community. It would also start to round out the WGA plastic skeleton kit... Enabling one to start making a full army.
For First Empires we are spoiled for choice. But perhaps Darius's chariot as famously presented here:
@JTam wouldn't a Lizardmen Chariot be able to be pulled by the potential Raptors for Grognard Cavalry? Dual use!
@Miyuso
Sounds like a good chance to refine/QC the Raptor's design.
Roman Race Chariot:
Dying for a mini racing game.
Ivar the Boneless Chariot as featured in the popular TV show:
That is pretty much the only place it's from, though. Historical sources that have him disabled usually suggest being carried to battle on his shield. Vikings barely used horses, let alone chariots, but one guy in a cart (who was mostly campaigning on land doesn't break history either.
Not that that would be a problem for ticking off a digital category.
For the Napoleonic era, Napoleon's coach:
Chariot Clock terrain piece for Imperial Conquests.
Something like this:
Mixed with this:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chariot_clock
For WW2 actually found something even better for the "chariot" theme:
Moto Guzzi Trialce
And/or the Benelli 500 M36:
Would be a super cool kit that would nicely augment the WGA WW2 Italian Infantry.
I was leaning towards a WW2 Italian motorcycle with sidecar but found photographic evidence of use a little light.
The German bike with sidecar is a classic. Great to go with the upcoming plastic German light antitank gun kit. And I'm sure some were still knocking about for liason work, etc. during the Panzer Lehr timeframe.
Russian motorcycle with sidecar is another interesting option.
For Classic Fantasy - Wights aka elite armored skeletons.
Something fancy like this:
For Ancients - The Immortals.
Bonus if they have an ogre.....
For Napoleonic Grenadiers I would go with the miniatures for the Russian Pavlov Grenadiers who retained the distinctive and slightly archaic mitre throughout the Napoleonic Wars.
Great support for WGA's Russian Line Infantry.
As a sidenote, I think it would be neat if they were actually taller than the line Infantry miniatures.
