I just built a 1/35 Tamiya Stug IV to use it as a heavy sci fi Tankhunter. Here is it pictured next to a Ironcore Stormtrooper. I think it works as a 40k style superheavy tank
My biggest hope is, that this Kickstarter is so successfull that other factions get some plastic love too. Especially tje Holy Roman Panzergrenadiers and the japanese Heishi Troops right up my alley
@Drangir can't wait for the Valkir set. I fell in love with the original Dreamforge kit and it seems like I am able to expand my forces soon
I just wanted to leave this picture of Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology here.
I just wanted to mention the swedish STRV-103 S tank. This tank screams sci-fi to me. Remove the main gun and add a turret: pa-chow sci-fi tank
I made some progress on the new heretic warband I'm not sure if red was the right color choice for the masks but I'll stick with it.
I decided to give my heretics some fancy fur collars. As Tuomas Pirinen told me there are rumours of a heretic base at ultima Thule and I heard it's cold there I also started my sons New Ant...
My next group of heretics during assembly. The big guy is a GW stormcast with a puppetswar head and a giant sword made from sprue The heretic stormtroopers are made from WGA Italian...
Fireforge games stone realm armored torsos really work well with the historic scaled WW1/WW2 lines. Perfect for making armored elite troops
Kitbashing is by far my most favourite part of the hobby and TC is so inspiring. I made this fella from Warlord Games Grenadier legs and a G43, Oathmark Goblin arms, a perry War of the roses torso...
Pig Iron productions has some fairly good sized heads https://www.pig-iron-productions.com/product-category/heads/page/3/ I used their system commando heads for my Ironcore kitbash
Here's my quick and dirty 699 ducats worth Heretic Naval Raiding Party. Now I need a quick 700 ducats force for the Trench Pilgrims to make a test game
@Drangir thanks mate. Yes the stormcast figures are fun to kitbash with. I also made this little guy a few days ago The stormcast are best when not used as stormcast 😉 I can't wait for the Valk...
As I've read throug the Trench Crusade playtest ruleset I couldn't fight the urge to build a small elite force of the heretic naval regiment. I just used spare parts and bits from tje bitsbo...
@Selrahc thanks mate. Your Mordheim terrain is awesome. Nice to see that so many people love this old gem
@Charles Tottington in the old Dreamforge kits the loinclothes were seperate pieces
Just three words: Landsknechts in space!! LazKnights
Here is my newest terrain project: The underhive sump harbour.
@Charles Tottington just start with a box shape and add to it
@Hudson Adams voted for Valkir and Fantasy Trolls
The tamyia 1/35 Pzkpfw II makes a pretty good battle tank when outfitted with a bigger gun. They come fairly cheap for around 10-15 bucks
@Hudson Adams thank you. Took quite some time to build it.
@Benjamin Hayward thanks mate. Very nice from you. Yes, storage space is a real struggle and my wife gives me the "look" every time I start a new project. But I'm a hobby butterfly and fly from one...
Technically no building, but I use it as terrain and its made from cardboard and foam mats
I've also built a medieval village, also usefull for Bolt Action and such
And here's my cardboard Imperial ruined city table
A star wars themed village made from old ice cream tubs
My latest project is this board for Sludge or Turnip28
Two years ago I made an entire sci fi city out of christmas gift boxes, old sprues and cardboard
Mordheim table made from cardboard, cork tiles, balsa wood and foam More pictures of this table can be found on my dedicated Mordheim thread
@Lord Marcus I'm from Germany. If there only would be a shop here that sells sprues
@Alessio De Carolis I bought from nannyogg999 several times. Great seller but as he is UK based, I don't buy as often as before brexit
Anvil Industry might have something for you https://anvilindustry.co.uk/filterSearch?adv=true&cid=0&mid=0&vid=0&q=Astral&sid=true&isc=true&orderBy=0#/pageSize=9&vie...
Finally I finished all of the "Space Krauts" after getting the Machinegunner ready for the WGA contest.
Andreas Mayrhofer "Obergefreiter Heinrich Schreck, Fallschirmjäger Regiment 1, Eastern Front autumn 1964" "In this alternative timeline WW2 started in 1959, so the Germans had the chan...
Despite the fact that I'm sick and feel like a pile of .... I managed to slap some paints on my minis. Still some highlights, bases and varnish to do. Sticking with the "Sci-fi Nazi" theme I tried...
The squad is primed And as I just saw the newest painting contest, I think the unit leader may get his time to shine
@Steven StGeorges thanks mate. As you can see, after some gapfilling these guys are ready for priming
Another Idea thats going around in my head... "what if Germans" Ooh Rah bodies mixed with Ironcore weapons and WW2 heads make great alternative history Germans
Today I came up with some Ideas for the Ooh Rah bodies: This guy is an alien Guerilla made with the Ooh Rah arms and body. I changed the standard rifle with an Ironcore Stormtroopers rifle and g...
I didn't really know what to do with the rest of the Ooh Rah parts so I came up with the sci fi version of a German WW2 Paratrooper. He is made almost completely from Ooh R...
@Lord Marcus oh my bad. I didn't realize that you only have to use digital sets. No native speaker here. I'll delete the entry.
Here's my near future Fallschirmjäger. I used an Ooh Rah body and a stargrave head which looks very much like a Fallschirmjäger helmet. I added some details like pouches and a bedroll ...
Should we post the work in progress photos in this thread?
@Tom Kennish great looking bugs
