Fantasy Races/Classes Survey

Fantasy Races/Classes Survey

This time we're doing something a little different with our survey. We're interested in what kinds of fantasy characters you'd like to see in hard plastic. We know a lot of you are role-players along with being wargamers and may have different desires for that than what you put onto the fields of tabletop battle!

MALE / FEMALE MONKS

I quite like JB’s idea about generic adventurer kits broken up into combat type/equipment categories. Pretty darn solid. If you stretch out that route, you could also have a “Specialists” kit (for rogues and rangers) or something to that effect. But that does limit on either race options or on customization options if you have multiple fantasy races together in one of those aforementioned kits instead of being human-centric.

As for unmentioned combos I’d like to see: the classic Halfling “Thief”/Rogue, Halfling or Gnome Fighter (sword and shield or two-hander), Half-Orc Barbarian (Half-Orc heads could be used interchangeably with Human Fighter), Dwarf Wizard. Additional options for some sort of non-copywritten half-devil race would be cool (only need an optional head for that, really), and also additional options for a Dwarf Cleric would be nice and quite simple to include alongside the hypothetical Fighter (give him a warhammer instead of, say, an axe for the Fighter, and some sort of holy symbol necklace bit or gripped in hand, you’re all set).

Multi-part Neanderthals!!!

Andy Owens - September 1, 2023

Cat people would be my number 1 choice.

Kevin Smoot - September 1, 2023

Male / female rogues and thieves

Ryan Auld - September 1, 2023

Kobolds, racoon people, “tieflings” and dwarfs made from stone or flesh would all be great

Ryan Mag - September 1, 2023

Elven Paladins, ideally with a nice variety of heads with different hair styles.

I think there is almost no well proportioned halflings out there except the ones you make guys.

And I think that civilian/ light militia halfilngs would be fantastic: both female and male halflings with arms to fit wrenches for mechanics, cooks and bread and chef guys and gals with pans and bagettes… folk people in general… oh and some instrumental instrument like the guitar that would be fantastic.
